Description
Upgraded Fender Standard HSS Stratocaster (made in Mexico 2006/7) in dark metallic blue.
PLEASE NOTE There is a large paint defect near the bottom strap button which has been painted black. This area is not noticeable when playing and has no effect on anything. PLEASE LOOK AT PHOTOS CLOSELY. If you need more photos let me know...
Overall the guitar is in great condition for its age. The nut was replaced recently, the fretboard shows very light use and there is plenty of height left in the frets. The action is nice and low and the tremolo is perfectly balanced to avoid tuning issues. There are the usual small cracks in the finish around the neck pocket as shown in the photos. Comes with Gear4Music hard case, strap and strap locks.
All controls have been replaced with Fender parts and the pickups have been replaced with new models (see below). The pickup combination seems really well balanced volume-wise. The 1st tone knob is a master output tone control. The 2nd Tone knob is used to blend the Bridge and Neck pickups which adds to the standard range of 5 tones by making it possible to mix the Bridge and Neck pickups together and to have all pickups on together.
Sensible offers welcome. Collection from Northstowe, Cambridge.
No trades thanks - I really have to downsize... be quick before I change my mind ;o)
